Every photograph, film, 360° panorama and piece of written text on this site is the work of Nicolas Voisin and is protected by copyright. None of it may be copied, reproduced, republished, used to train a model for commercial resale, or included in a listing, brochure or advertisement without written permission.
Clients who have commissioned work hold the usage rights set out in their own agreement. Those rights cover the client's own marketing; they are not a transfer of copyright and they do not extend to third parties, including portals and agencies acting on the client's behalf, unless that was agreed in writing.
Properties, brands and venues shown on this site are the property of their respective owners and appear here as examples of commissioned work.
Licensing and takedowns
To license an image, or to report a use of one that isn't licensed, email contact@kohsamuiphoto.com. If you appear in a photograph published here and want it removed, say so and it is removed.
Accuracy of information
Prices shown on the rates page are for 2026, in Thai Baht, and are indicative for standard conditions. Travel, permits, models and unusual requirements are quoted separately. A written quote is the binding version, not this website.
Links to other sites
Films are embedded from YouTube and virtual tours are served from third-party viewers. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which we don't control.

This site and the services described on it are governed by the law of Thailand.

This site is run by Nicolas Voisin Film & Photography Co., Ltd., a photography and film company based on Koh Samui, Thailand. Most visitors here are looking at photographs, and looking at photographs requires nothing from you. The only moment personal data is involved is when you choose to contact us. This page sets out exactly what happens then.
What is collected, and when
The enquiry form
If you send the form on the contact page, we receive what you typed into it: your name, your email address, and the details of the project — property name, location, type of shoot, dates, and anything you add in the message field. Nothing is collected from that form unless you press send.
Email, WhatsApp and social messages
If you write to us directly, we hold that correspondence in the relevant account in the ordinary way — the same as any business email.
Audience measurement
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, without fingerprinting and without building a profile of you. It records the page, the referrer, the country and the general device type. It does not follow you to other sites, and it is not used for advertising. Because nothing is stored on your device and no individual is identified, there is no consent banner on this site.
There are no advertising pixels here — no Meta pixel, no Google Ads tag, no third-party trackers.

Who else sees it
The enquiry form is delivered by Web3Forms, which receives the contents of the form and forwards them to our inbox. They act as a processor on our behalf. Email is hosted by Google. The site itself is hosted and served by Cloudflare, which also provides the analytics described above. Nothing is sold, rented or shared with advertisers, ever.
Some of these providers operate outside Thailand and the EEA. Transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses those providers publish.
How long it is kept
- Enquiries that don't become a job — deleted within two years.
- Client correspondence and invoices — kept for as long as Thai accounting law requires, currently five years.
- Photographs and footage — archived indefinitely, because clients regularly come back years later for the original files. Where images show identifiable people, see below.
- Analytics — retained by Cloudflare in aggregate; there is no per-visitor record to delete.
Photographs of people
Where a shoot includes recognisable people — wedding coverage, lifestyle content, models — the images are used for delivery to the client, and for our portfolio and social channels only where that was agreed at the time of the shoot. If you appear in an image on this site and would like it taken down, email us and it comes down. No argument, no form to fill in.
Your rights
If the GDPR applies to you, you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, ask us to restrict how it is used, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and ask for your data in a portable format. Thailand's PDPA gives broadly equivalent rights. To use any of them, email contact@kohsamuiphoto.com — we answer these ourselves, usually the same day. If you are in the EU and you think we've handled something badly, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. The enquiry form is submitted over an encrypted connection. Client files are delivered through private galleries and expiring links rather than public folders.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no mailing list, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
